Sue Soltis’ newest picture book, The Moon Moved In, is illustrated by Sonia Sánchez, and will be published by Chronicle in fall 2022. She’s also the author of The Stars Just Up the Street, illustrated by Christine Davenier (Candlewick, 2020) and Nothing Like a Puffin, illustrated by Bob Kolar (Candlewick Press, 2011), which was cited as a Charlotte Zolotow Award Highly Commended Title (2012) and selected for “The Schoolies—Best Picture Books of 2011” (Top Teaching blog, Scholastic). She is a published poet with an MA in English from Binghamton University. She grew up in Reading, Pennsylvania, and currently lives in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, with her husband and two sons (and two cats).
