Amy is a Taiwanese-Aussie children's book illustrator who grew up in California and now calls Sydney home. She was -that- kid in school, the one that did all artwork for group projects and all the props for the school play. Her pen name "Kooky Chooky" is an amalgamation of her offbeat nature and career path, her Chinese zodiac year, and Australian slang where chickens are colloquially called chooks. She adores experimenting with traditional art media and creating quirkily charming characters steeped in fun. Amy is fueled by chocolate and will never refuse ice cream. In her spare time, she talks to her menagerie of plants, herds her two boisterous munchkins, and works as a doctor.
