Anna Alsup grew up in Austin, Texas, where she spent her time on lakes and ranches, always with a book in hand. She enjoys writing stories that celebrate the resilience of teens—whether navigating high school or surviving alternate universes. Anna is a proud graduate of the University of Texas with a B.S. in biomedical engineering, nowadays working on environmental public safety initiatives. She serves as the Regional Advisor for the Austin SCBWI chapter where she plans conferences, leads events for industry professionals, and fosters a supportive kidlit community.
